Vendor and proposal review

An independent review of a security technology or services proposal before you sign it, checking scope, pricing, and integration claims against what the work actually requires.

No vendor commissions · Independent of any equipment or installation relationship · Written findings on scope, cost, and gaps

WHAT THIS IS

The proposal was written by the party who profits if you sign it.

A vendor proposal is a sales document first. It is written to win the deal, not to give you an independent read on whether the scope matches your actual need, whether the pricing is reasonable, or whether the integration claims will hold up in practice.

Vendor and Proposal Review is independent of any equipment or installation relationship. G.I.S. does not sell, install, or service equipment and takes no vendor commissions, which means the review has no stake in whether you sign.

PRICING

Fixed fee, scoped by proposal complexity, not organization size.

Tier one · $1,500

Single-system proposal, such as an access control or camera quote.

Tier two · $2,500

Multi-system, integration-heavy proposal, such as a full CAD, RMS, and LPR bundle.

Tier three · Quote

RFP-stage review across multiple competing vendor proposals.

PROCESS

01 Intake

You send the proposal and any related specification or design documents.

02 Review

The proposal is reviewed against scope, pricing, and integration claims.

03 Findings

Gaps, exclusions, and risk points are documented in writing.

04 Delivery

You receive the findings memo, followed by a call to walk through it.

AFTER THE REVIEW

Proceed

Some proposals hold up well. That is a good outcome and we say so.

Renegotiate

Where gaps are found, the findings give you specific points to take back to the vendor.

Broader engagement

Where the review points to a larger technology planning need, the fee is credited toward that engagement.

Send the proposal. We will tell you what it actually covers.
