A continuity plan without a BIA behind it is a guess about what matters.

Most organizations write a continuity plan by assuming which functions are critical. A business impact analysis replaces the assumption with interviews and data: what actually stops if this function goes down, for how long can it be down before the damage compounds, and what does that downtime cost.

This is the foundational step, not a document review or a physical assessment. It produces the recovery time objectives that a continuity plan, a tabletop exercise, and a vendor recovery agreement all depend on.

AFTER THE ANALYSIS

Testing

Retainer
