Jay Voigt is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Global Intel Service, where he has dedicated his career to building safer communities and strengthening organizational resilience. His professional path is rooted in more than a decade of law enforcement and public safety leadership, with extensive experience in high-level investigations, complex security operations, and innovative crime prevention initiatives.
As Commander of the Criminal Investigations Section, he oversaw sensitive and high-profile cases, ensuring the highest standards of thoroughness and integrity. He was selected to serve with the United States Secret Service on the Miami Cyber Crimes Task Force and contributed to the U.S. Marshals Service security detail during the 2025 Presidential Inauguration. These assignments reinforced his expertise in managing critical incidents, interagency collaboration, and national-level security operations.
His career has also emphasized the integration of technology and strategy into public safety. He managed city-wide initiatives, including the creation of a Real-Time Crime Center and an advanced CCTV system designed to unify multiple data streams and improve situational awareness. His leadership extended into cybersecurity infrastructure improvements, the deployment of advanced law enforcement systems, and the acquisition of grant funding to drive innovation. In every role, he worked to build strong relationships with community members, business leaders, and government agencies.
Professional Credentials
His qualifications as a physical security risk consultant are reinforced by extensive specialized training. He is a certified Florida CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) Practitioner and has led programs that include physical security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and critical training in active shooter response and “Stop the Bleed.” As a licensed FAA Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems pilot, he conducts advanced aerial security assessments that provide unique perspectives for risk mitigation.
A commitment to professional development has shaped his career. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville’s Southern Police Institute, completing the prestigious 92nd Command Officer Development Course, and of Miami Dade College’s School of Justice Senior Officer Course. He has also earned the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award by completing the Supervisor Leadership Institute, Executive Leadership Institute, and Command Leadership Institute. As a founding member of the Florida Shield Network, he brings counter-terrorism expertise and a proactive mindset to threat identification and mitigation.
